Hunter (killer) 1/23/18 - 3/6/22 aka Pretty Boy

Breeder Roger Poole Cazadero Viszlas. We adopted him at age 1.5 after he was already trained to be a competition hunting athlete. He would take too long thinking before performing and was recomissioned to house pet. He probably orchestrated this outcome knowing how smart he was.

He was a 55lb. lap dog. He loved physical contact like all vizslas.

Nice teeth. He used them more often than he should have on people. He had to be managed closely as he was too fast to stop once he decided to bite.

Hunter was the smartest Dog I've ever had. Here he is in a standoff over a sparerib with the chickens. He could kill them in an instant but, didn't after they pecked him a couple times early on. He could move faster than you could see.

The Volkswagen beetle was designed ergonomically for viszlas. I could have taught him to drive it although his legs are a little too short to reach the pedals.

The movies below genereally don't show up on cell phones because the .MOV files are too large. Someday I'll compress them to MP4s.

Movie of Hunter's standoff with the chickens.

Go for a walk?

His light burned brightly but, unfortunately not for long. We only had him for 3 1/2 years. Lymphoma took him from us way too soon.
